Beth Weiss is CIHS’s New Administrative Coordinator

We are excited to welcome Beth Weiss as our Administrative Coordinator. Beth is a Chebeague resident and brings great operations experience and a wonderful level of energy to this new position. Her family has deep roots here and she is excited to be involved in the historical context of life on Chebeague.

I would like to thank you for making our 2024 House Tour comeback such an amazing success. Attendance surpassed our optimistic projections. It has been five years since our last tour, and in the community survey last fall, you asked us to bring it back, and we listened.
The Survey Results are in!

Last fall our community-wide survey provided CIHS insight on our past, and current efforts along with suggestions for the future of the organization. We received 190 responses with recommendations for exhibits and programs, increasing our value to the community.
